The winning University side

Edinburgh University won the Cricket Media Super Sixes 2012 final against Carlton at the National Cricket Academy.

The students had been the form team throughout the group stages and had again been impressive in their semi final victory over the Eastern Cricket Academy. It was Carlton, who despite missing Preston Mommsen, Gordon Drummond and Fraser Watts through international duties had earlier beaten Heriots in the first semi final, who batted first.
